Privacy
The short version: no analytics, no ad trackers, no data sold. The site stores what it needs to work and nothing else. Last updated 2 July 2026.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are the session cookies that keep you signed in, and they are only set when you sign in. They are strictly necessary for the account feature you asked for, which is why there is no cookie consent banner: there is nothing optional to consent to. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.
On-device storage
Two preferences are kept in your browser's local storage: your theme choice and the hours-per-week figure you set on the home page. If you use them while signed out, they stay on your device and are never sent to a server. Clearing your browser data removes them.
If you create an account
Accounts are optional; the calculator and lists work without one. If you sign up, the site stores your email address (or the identity shared by Discord, Twitch, or Steam when you sign in through them), your preferences (session length, play style, schedule), and your backlog. This lives in a Supabase database and is used only to show you your own data. It is never sold or shared.
Steam data
If you sign in with Steam or import your wishlist, the site reads your public Steam profile data (library, playtime, wishlist) from Steam's API to calculate progress and verdicts. It reads only what your Steam privacy settings make public.
The weekly digest is off by default and only sent if you turn it on in Settings. Every digest includes an unsubscribe link that works without signing in. Emails are delivered through Resend, the site's email provider.
Third parties
Game covers and artwork load directly from IGDB and Steam's image servers, which see your IP address the way any image host does. Time-to-beat figures come from HowLongToBeat, fetched by our server, not your browser. Buy links go to external stores; what happens there is covered by their policies, not this one.
Questions or deletion requests
To ask a question or have your account and its data deleted, use the suggestion button on any game page and include a way to reach you. Requests are handled by a person, not a pipeline, so allow a few days.
